SPORTS PHOTOGRAPHER
WHAT I DO
As a sports photographer I capture strength, movement, dedication and the body you’ve worked hard for.
I shoot in my studio, but just as easily on location: in a gym or outdoors.
From individual fitness and personal trainer shoots to action shots during training or competition, I photograph the best moments and your body at its strongest!
Looking for a sports photographer in Amsterdam, Zaandam or beyond? I work throughout the Netherlands and I’m happy to help you find the right approach for your shoot.
WHO IT’S FOR
Athletes who want their sport or training goal captured with impact, personal trainers looking to strengthen their website and social media, and gyms or sports brands in need of strong visual communication.
I work for individuals and businesses alike in the sports and fitness world.
Sports photographer in the studio, gym or outdoors
Sports photography is a field I do with a huge amount of passion! In my studio, in a gym, at a sports event or at a fitness club. I love capturing every kind of athletic person and atmosphere, and I know exactly how to make your strength and energy shine on camera.
Do you work or train in Amsterdam? You’ll find me there regularly, in gyms and on location across the city.

Low-key fitness photoshoots are my speciality!
Back in 2023, during my photography training, I organised my first fitness photoshoot in the studio. That was the start of my passion for this kind of photography. Because wow, the results you can get!
A friend of mine, William, had mentioned before that he’d like to model, and he turned out to be the perfect choice for my (well, our) first fitness photoshoot. With a black background and dramatic lighting we ended up with a low-key style that really brings out muscle, texture and strength.
The result was so good that low-key fitness photoshoots have become my area of expertise ever since.
Why personal trainers need professional photos
As a personal trainer it’s not just about what you can do, but also about how you come across. People choose a trainer who feels like a good fit. Someone who inspires confidence, communicates clearly and shows how they work.
And that’s exactly where good photos make the difference!
Professional photos make sure you’re taken seriously right away. They show that you invest in yourself and your business, and that builds trust.
Sport shoot in the gym: raw or refined
During a sport shoot I capture how you do your sport: right in the middle of your training, with light that brings out your strength and effort. Raw and gritty, or clean and stylish, we decide that together.
Perfect for athletes who want to show their sport, or capture their progress and performance.
Fitness photoshoot in the open air
Thinking about a fitness photoshoot to capture the body you’ve trained so hard for? In this blog about an outdoor fitness photoshoot you’ll read everything about shooting outside, from the preparation to the results.
Personal trainer photoshoot
As a personal trainer you want to show what you stand for, and that starts with how you present yourself. In a personal trainer photoshoot we capture together who you are and how you work: strong, approachable and professional. I photograph you during a training session, in my studio or on location, exactly as it suits your style.
The result? Images you can put to work straight away on your website, social media and branding! Photos that show you’re serious about your profession and that you invest in how you come across.

You can already read a number of reviews about my photography on Google, but I’d love to share three of them here: (translated from Dutch)

“I felt at ease straight away during the shoot. Cindy knew exactly how to photograph me to capture my shape and energy, without it feeling posed. The result, absolutely brilliant!”

“Even though I don’t like being in front of the camera, I’m really happy with the shoot I had with Cindy. Lovely shoot, beautiful photos, and pleasant and quick communication. Highly recommended!”
William

“This was my very first photoshoot, so I had no idea what to expect. We had a couple of hours planned and it felt natural and easy right from the start, as if we were already in sync. Cindy knows exactly what to do with the camera and the lighting, and how I should pose. She explains things clearly and gives hints for a good pose. It was very comfortable, and Cindy was focused on the photos above all, looking at everything with a professional eye […]”
