Funeral Photographer | Funeral & Memorial Photography
I’m Cindy Jeurissen, a funeral and memorial photographer working throughout the Netherlands. During a farewell, I photograph quietly and with great care, you will hardly notice I’m there. In those still, intimate moments, I capture what truly matters to you. I’m there for you, to create a meaningful and lasting memory of a difficult day.
Why memorial photography is so much more than taking photos
Through my lens, I often notice details that others might miss. Small, meaningful moments that turn into lasting memories. That is what memorial photography is all about and what I am here to provide.
Because a farewell cannot be repeated, I always recommend not relying on phone photos or asking a guest to take pictures. Instead, choose professional funeral photography, captured by a photographer who specializes in funerals and memorial services.
These images become incredibly valuable over time. They help you remember, reflect, and process your grief. After the farewell has passed, they allow you to look back at your own pace and give space to healing and remembrance.
Quiet moments & genuine emotion, captured
Every farewell is unique, just like the person being remembered. Letting go of someone you love is deeply emotional and painful, but it can also bring moments of connection and togetherness.
That is exactly why memorial photography is so valuable, it allows you to revisit those moments later.
As a memorial and funeral photographer, I feel the emotions in the room. I see the tears, the connection between people, and I focus on the moments and details that often go unnoticed. And I capture them for you to hold onto, later.

Professional memorial photographer: how it works & what to expect
The fact that you’ve found your way to my memorial photography page tells me that you already see its value. When you get in touch, I’d love to hear where and when the farewell will take place, and how long you would like me to be present.
If you’re not entirely sure yet, I’m happy to think along with you and advise on the number of hours needed for funeral photography.
In terms of location, I work not only as a funeral photographer in North Holland and Amsterdam, but throughout the entire Netherlands. Last-minute bookings are absolutely possible, even if the farewell is taking place the very next day.
I’m flexible and will always do my best to make space in my schedule. Other shoots can often be rescheduled, a farewell cannot, and I understand that.
Calm and clarity, from preparation to the day itself
Before the day, it’s helpful to have some contact, by phone, email, or WhatsApp, whatever feels most comfortable for you. We’ll go over the most important practical details, who you would especially like me to photograph, and which moments or details should not be missed.
The more I know in advance, the more I can support you and take care of things on the day itself.
Even if there isn’t much time to prepare beforehand, everything will still be handled with care. As a funeral and memorial photographer, I know exactly which moments and details to look for.
I work like a fly on the wall, quietly and respectfully, without disturbing the farewell.
When I am asked to photograph a child’s funeral, I approach this with extra softness, care, and sensitivity.

Memorial photography pricing & funeral photographer options
