As an event photographer I capture the atmosphere, the energy and the special moments of your event: from lively company parties, conferences and product launches to festivals, club nights and PhD graduation ceremonies.
For the most personal moments too, such as a farewell, I’m there with all the calm and respect that deserves.
I work throughout the Netherlands, with Zaandam and the Amsterdam area as my home ground.

I photograph many of my events in Amsterdam, from conferences and company parties to Museumnacht. I know the venues there well and I’m in the city in no time from Zaandam.

As a conference photographer I’m everywhere at once and yet invisible to your guests, capturing the atmosphere and the moments that really matter, so the energy of the day stays with everyone for months. Walking through a packed venue or festival ground with my camera, I see people loosen up as the night goes on, and that’s where the best, most spontaneous images come from!

PhD photographer in Amsterdam for UvA, VU and the Randstad
Defending your thesis is the culmination of years of research. Something to be proud of! And something you’ll want captured properly. As an experienced PhD photographer I document this special day without ever disturbing the ceremony, for the UvA, the VU and other universities in the Randstad.

Memorial photography and funeral photography
Something entirely different, but no less a part of my work as a full-time photographer, is that I also work as a memorial and funeral photographer, in Zaandam and the Amsterdam area.
During a farewell I photograph quietly, and you’ll barely notice I’m there. I capture what matters to you, as a treasured keepsake from a sorrowful day.

FAQ Event photography
What does an event photographer cost?
The price depends on how long the event lasts and what kind it is: a networking drinks event of a few hours, a conference day or a multi-day festival all call for something different. You’ll find an overview on my rates page, or get in touch for a quote tailored to what you need.
How soon will I receive the photos after the event?
For events I usually deliver the complete selection within a week. If you need images sooner, for social media or a press release for example, I can deliver a small preselection the same day or the day after, in consultation.
Do you only work in Zaandam and Amsterdam?
Zaandam and the Amsterdam area are where I work most, but I photograph events throughout the Netherlands. From a conference in Utrecht to a festival in Brabant: I’m happy to make the trip.
What kinds of events do you photograph?
Conferences, company parties, networking drinks, product launches, festivals, club nights and PhD graduation ceremonies. For the most personal moments too, such as a farewell, I’m there with all the calm and respect that deserves.
How noticeable are you during the event?
Barely. I work as unobtrusively as possible, moving quietly among your guests and photographing what actually happens, without asking people to pose or interrupting the programme. Clients often tell me afterwards that they hardly noticed I was there, while I’d been photographing from every corner of the room!
Do we get the rights to use the photos on social media and our website?
Yes, after the event you’ll receive the edited images including usage rights for your website, social media and other communication.
