All round photographer with focus on corporate events
In case you don’t quite know who I am yet, you can read more here among others. Working as an event photographer is one of my areas of expertise. I call myself an all-round photographer, but if I could choose one branch of photography that I do most often and with regularity, it would be corporate events.
For which events can I book you, Cindy? That’s easy, for many different events, such as: anniversaries, company parties, seminars, conferences, product launches, charity events, partner days, networking events, etcetera etcetera. I can also photograph at company outings and teambuilding days. You name it!

Why hire an event photographer?
The reasons for inviting me to any of the above activities / corporate events can also be very diverse. A corporate photographer, like me, delivers high quality, cool and beautiful professional photos after the event. A comprehensive photo report of the day. Which can then be used as marketing material, for example, or to promote your upcoming event extensively, or for use on social media – if desired, I can deliver the photos at lightning speed to stay in ‘the moment’ – or for your internal communication. You name it. It is useful for me to know in advance what the purpose of the photos I take during your corporate event is.
What is the focus during an event?
In terms of focus, I differentiate by corporate event/activity. For example, I may focus on capturing the interaction between colleagues, or between guests, or between the speaker and the guests. Just to name a few examples.
During anniversaries, often really special moments are important. If you give me a script in advance, and perhaps names of people who necessarily need to be photographed well at certain moments, I will take them all into account. That way the company, my client (you or yours), can get the most out of the photos. Which, of course, is the intention!

What is the approach of a corporate event photographer?
My approach is that when you email, call, or Whats app me, in short contact me, I ask you about all the details you already know at that moment about the corporate event to be photographed.
Just by the way, should you be reading this and looking for a photographer for a different kind of event, I’ll just mention something: a festival or private party, of course that’s possible too. In this blog I focus on corporate events and what I can do for you as an event photographer. Festival photography of mine and concerts and such that I have captured can be found here.
Then I make a custom quote for you. I take into account the purpose of the photos: what they will be used for, the number of hours I will be present, the number of photos I roughly estimate to be shot, the editing and delivery time.
When the quote is approved, or something needs to be adjusted / added, we will start from what was discussed in the quote and I will be fully prepared on the day itself. And I will only speak to you or you briefly for perhaps some additional details. However, the intention is that I shoot everything completely independently as discussed beforehand and deliver afterwards as also discussed.

As an event photographer, do you also work together?
Since that beautiful day in the spring, I have been working with Enya from Attent Business Support, who fully organized this day for Karlijn Kwint, as well as the day for Remco van der Ploeg from Secondent.
At the events that Enya organizes, I am a regular event photographer. The nice thing about that is that, given the previous corporate events that I have photographed, with the intervention of Enya as event planner, I know exactly what the requirements are. In short, half a word is quickly enough to know what is intended. That saves time, more space for good focus and beautiful images as a result of a beautiful event day!

What size of events do you photograph? And throughout the Netherlands?
By the way, the size of the event doesn’t matter. Even if there are only 30 guests, 300 or 3,000, it doesn’t matter to me as an event photographer. But it does come in handy to know in advance. But as described above, before I arrive on the day itself we will go through everything anyway.

Before I close, I would like to mention that in case you think: “hey Cindy, but if I let you come for so many hours for a day-long corporate event, that’s way too expensive”, well that’s not so bad. See here for my global rates and of course I am happy to make you a customized offer. It is useful to mention that I photograph throughout the Netherlands. I find it no problem to sit a bit in the car and that way I get somewhere! So even if your corporate event is not in the Amsterdam area, no problem.
Oh en last but not least, je kan me ook boeken voor enkel een paar uurtjes als evenementen bedrijfsfotograaf, bijvoorbeeld bepaalde (piek) tijden, dan heb je toch foto’s om later professionele exposure aan je bedrijfsevenement te kunnen geven, maar minder kosten. Top toch?!
